January Sales

January 4, 2007

The January fashion sales have now begun and the usual mad rush to grab a bargain is on. In a bizarre twist of recent times, the January sales start before January and you can start shopping for a deal from anytime on Boxing Day right through to January the 1st.

My number one tip for getting what you want in the January sales would be to actually start early. I hate going to a shop mid January, only to find clothes which are not to my taste. Admittedly, you will still find some items mid to end January at knock down prices, but you need a good balance of getting what you want.

This year I was paid early from work which everyone wants before Christmas. I had bought all of my Christmas presents early as I decided to be organised for once, so with that cash spare I decided to go out on the lash and spend Christmas Eve dancing to Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas”. Christmas quickly came and went and the sales started, I found that I didn’t have much to spend as I would have liked to have done. That didn’t really bother me, so I still went trolling about Manchester city centre for some designer clothes.

If you are stuck for finding what you want in your favorite department store then why not have a browse on the internet? There are millions of items on the internet you will find and they will still be there usually until around February or sometimes March. With more and more people becoming internet savvy, I doubt these great deals will be there long and they can go faster than you can say “January Sales”. It’s worth subscribing to newsletters as most will contain details on special offers or voucher codes. For instance, last year I nearly got hold of a decent Sony Vaio laptop for under £300, unfortunately the offer was only on for an hour and whilst stocks lasted and I missed the deal in minutes.

The January Fashion Sales are evil, I end up spending way too much than what I should do and now I am skint until February.

If you write an article for this online designer clothing store you get vouchers to spend in their shop!
